Technique Classes T1: Learn to Knit This class is for those of you who have never picked up needles and yarn, or who may have learned as a child and forgotten everything. In the first class, you will learn to knit and bind off. Second class will include casting on, purling and reading a pattern. Tunisian Crochet is a technique that borrows elements from both knittting and crochet, forming a sort of fusion of the two. When working Tunisian crochet, you hold your stitches along a special, extra long hook that has a knitting needle end. The finished fabric looks like a weaving, Stockinette stitch fabric, or lace, depending on which stitch you choose to work. Come learn this amazing technique with a simple scarf project of your choosing. PLEASE BRING a tunisian crochet hook, size H, I, or J, with you to class.
