Choose your favorite PRIDE flag to stitch and please make sure that stripes are horizontal so all the colors may be seen from all angles.  Flags should be 28” wide x 36” long.  This is a fab stash buster project but if you need an extra color, we’ve got you covered! Lovelyarns has some free donated stash for you and we will give 20% off on all yarns purchased for this project.

"Alice Tee" Spring KAL

The Alice Tee is the perfect cotton t-shirt to replace your fast fashion tees. You know, the ones that fall out of shape and look terrible after three washes. Alice is designed with set-in sleeves for a tailored fit and a graceful scoop neck that promises not to show your bra straps. Worked from the top down, seamlessly, you can easily modify this pattern to your liking.

Alice is worked top down in the round. The upper body is worked flat in rows, and then joined to work in the round after all neck and underarm sts have been cast on. German Short Rows are used to shape the sleeve caps and optional bust darts.

Get your copy of the "Alice Tee" pattern by Elizabeth Margaret of One Wild Designs HERE

Look for appropriate cotton yarns here.  All KAL participants receive 15% off KAL supplies with coupon code KAL!

team lovely ravellenics 2024.jpg

HUZZAH! The 2024 Ravellenic Games are nearly upon us! Are you ready to join Team Lovely?

Ravellenics began in 2006 as "The Knitting Olympics" by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee on her blog, "The Yarn Harlot". Click here to see her original post and the 2006 rules.

While the spirit and nearly all of the rules remain the same, Ravellenics has grown in popularity with stitchers and spinners all over the world!

The idea is to choose a project of Olympic proportion for you to begin and complete during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris!

We will post a list of categories as we get closer to the cast-on date of July 26th and we will also host an Opening Ceremonies watch party on Friday, July 26th.

NBC will live stream the festivities beginning at noon and will air the highlights at 7:30pm.

You can watch the live stream with us at the shop all day or come for the party at 7:30pm!
