Build your confidence in this fun three-hour class with Sarah while you learn how to do "Fair Isle" or "Stranded" knitting! You should already be comfortable knitting and purling in the round, casting on and binding off before you take this class. This class is for an advanced beginner/intermediate knitter. The hat uses three colours of a warm double-knitting (DK WEIGHT) yarn and a playful pompom on top. Sizing modification tips are included in the pattern. The Astrid hat is a companion to the Lindgren mitts pattern. Anyone wanting to knit a matching set will get a £1 discount applied at the checkout. Main colour: approx 150 yds Contrast colour 1: approx 80 yds Contrast colour 2: approx 80 yds HOMEWORK: Using smaller needles and MC, cast on120sts. Join to knit in the rnd, being careful not to twist. Place marker to mark beg of rnd. Rnd1: *k1,p1; rep from* to end. Work rnd 1 another 9 times.
