Service Description

There are literally hundreds of ways to cast on and bind off your knitting! Long tail, provisional, stretchy, decorative, grafted... each method has unique properties and knowing which to use for your project often makes the difference between so-so and spectacular. In this class we will learn at least three different methods of complementary paired cast-ons and bind-offs (maybe more, time permitting). This class is for advanced beginners and intermediate knitters. You should be comfortable both knitting and purling, and have at least a nodding acquaintance with a crochet hook. Materials needed: one set of size 6, 7, or 8 straight needles, one set of DPNs or circs in the same size, one crochet hook in the same size, one skein of worsted weight light-colored yarn that can be easily frogged and reworked. You will receive a 10% class discount when you purchase class supplies at our shop!
